Dear Hotep, Thanks for the books I received for my students. I passed them out 2 days before the last day of the school year as a graduation gift. Most of my students began reading it immediately after I passed them out and even though I had a lesson scheduled for that day, I cancelled it to let them get into their reading. The last thing I want to do is stop 8th graders from actually getting into a book on their own for once!

I received nothing but great feedback from students who had either finished the book by the end of that day or the following day. They all wanted to know if there was a second part coming out.

I've decided to use the book next school year as a teaching tool. I will have the students read it during second semester and we'll discuss one chapter a day for 2 weeks. I also hope to have you visit our class and talk with students directly.
